What is Score For Cancer?
With over $145,000 raised to date, Score for Cancer is a fund raiser undertaken by Ryan Tattle in conjunction with the Canadian Cancer Society. All monies raised go directly to the Canadian Cancer Society to support their efforts in the battle to eliminate cancer.
Why Score For Cancer?
Everyone knows someone affected by cancer. A hard truth is that 1 of 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer during their lifetime. For Ryan, cancer has touched both his Mom and good friend and former teammate Greg Lapointe. Seeing his Mom and Greg’s strength firsthand motivated Ryan to try and make a difference. Ryan was inspired to create Score For Cancer. The goal of Score for Cancer is simple: to raise as much money as possible to help the Canadian Cancer Society and continue to work towards a world without cancer.
